What’s on in Paternoster ?



•Paternoster has lots to offer for everyone, from lots of wild flowers,which open and densely carpet the earth in bright colour during August and September. The Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and Lighthouse is in close proximity. The West Coast Fossil Park is also well worth a visit.
•This west coast village offers fantastic opportunities for whale-, dolphin- and seal watching! This coastline has more than 250 bird species and is the breeding ground for the Oystercatcher.

Paternoster offers many adventure activities,like sea kayaking, hiking,diving,sailing,wind - surfing, kite -boarding and fishing! Paternoster is a “crayfish paradise”, with local fisherman selling them on the side of the road in season. There are various restaurants as well as the legendary Paternoster Hotel, offering seafood and crayfish as specialty on their menu. For those less active, it is an artistic inspiring place!
